Here's everything you need to know about our little corner of the internet.
The site is just for our group, so it asks for a group code the first time you visit. Don't have it? Text Kyle, Rachel, or Carrie โ they'll happily share it. Enter it once and your phone remembers; the ๐ Lock link up top forgets it again if you're on a borrowed device.
Weeknight gatherings start at 7:30 PM; Food with Families Sundays kick off at 12:30 PM, right after church.
Two tabs, that's it! ๐ Schedule is every gathering this fall โ flip between ๐ List and ๐๏ธ Calendar view, and tap any date to open it up. ๐ฅ Contacts is our group directory, so we can actually reach each other between Sundays.
Up in the header you'll find a rotating verse chosen around Trinity Park's mission โ a little encouragement with your planning. It changes twice a day, so come back often. ๐
Open a date, pop your family name in the RSVP box, pick how many are coming, and hit RSVP. That's it โ you're on the list, and the host knows how many chairs to set out.
Most gatherings have signup lists โ ๐ฅจ Snacks, ๐ฒ Potluck, ๐ฒ Games, or ๐จ Crafts โ depending on the night. Claim what you're bringing so we don't end up with five pans of mac & cheese (a real and present danger). Add your name and your dish, game, or craft, and tap Add.
Some nights simply say "Nothing to bring โ just come!" Take that at face value: just come.
Every date needs a home, and hosting is wonderfully simple: open your door, and the group brings the rest. If a date says "Needs host," tap Volunteer to host, add your name and address, and you've just blessed the whole group.
Tap โ๏ธ on any event to adjust its details โ hosts especially, for choosing which signup lists your gathering uses. If plans change (sick kiddos, weather, life), "unclaim" the date and give the group a heads-up text so someone else can step in.
Our group is wonderfully big โ so on Food with Families days, a host can check ๐ค open to sharing host duties, and others can tap โ Host another location. Each location gets its own time, address, RSVP list, and potluck signups. Same day, more tables!
Each week's card carries the scripture we're reading (the full ESV passage, right there โ no app-switching), the focus for our time together, and any study guides or links the organizers have added. Give it a read before you come and you'll get so much more out of the evening.
On every event: ๐ Apple/Outlook and ๐ Google Calendar buttons put the date on your phone. โ๏ธ Email attendees and ๐ฌ Text attendees open a message to everyone who's RSVP'd โ perfect for "gate code is 1234" or "we're running 15 late, start without us."
Head to the Contacts tab and fill in My info โ name, household, phone, email. You choose exactly what's shared with the group using the toggle chips; anything you un-share stays private to you and the organizers. It takes 30 seconds and makes carpools, meal trains, and prayer chains actually work.
And the signup lists:
Everyone with the code can add and fix things on this site โ it runs on the same trust and grace as the group itself. If something looks off, just tidy it up or mention it in the group text. Questions big or small: Kyle, Rachel, or Carrie are your people.
We can't wait to see you!
